Originally the J. W. Huesgen Winery, subsequently Richard Langguth, now the heirs of F. W. Langguth – Foundation Winery.
Shortly after founding his business in 1764 Johann Wilhelm Huesgen moved his premises from Trarbach to the site of the former Augustinian Springiersbacher Hof on Rißbacher Straße.
In 1861, in front of the elongated Baroque production premises, his descendants constructed a Neo-Classical residence on the banks of the Mosel and a large new cellar on Rißbacher Straße.
A massive steel-reinforced pillar forms the centre of an extremely aesthetic example of cross vaulting. A network of additional tunnel vaults for storing barrels of wine connects with this square cellar on the river side.
